Our Story…
Our owner and baker, Erin Banks, has followed a plant-based lifestyle since 2015. Early on, she found herself missing the comfort foods and baked treats she loved — and disappointed by the lack of satisfying vegan alternatives. As a result, she turned to making all her favorite comfort foods and sweet treats, with a plant-based twist. Her passion has always been focusing on flavour, texture, and the kind of quality you expect from traditional baking.
In 2023, Erin founded The Green Oven from her home in Kentville, NS. She continues to focus on recipe development and providing high quality, crave worthy goods.
The Green Oven is proud to serve the Annapolis Valley and surrounding communities through local markets, WFM2Go, and custom orders.
